About us - Objectives 
The Research and Information Center on Immigrant Integration will be the central point of exchange of information and good practices in the field of integration in Romania, of coordinating researchers in the field of integration and of facilitating partnerships between organizations and experts, having three main components:
• Documentation center – access to the latest information and international practices for the institutions, organizations, professionals and researchers interested in this field.
• Multidisciplinary network of researchers – whose role is to examine relevant literature on the integration of immigrants, to create a new conceptual framework and new research instruments, to conduct research from a multidisciplinary perspective and to monitor the implementation of integration policies – in the context of the instruments established at a European level – and to make recommendations to the decision factors and authorities regarding integration practices, legislation and policies.
• Network of organizations and experts – the center forms a network of organizations and interacts with actors in the field of integration, such as organizations involved in specific projects/initiatives, local and national authorities acting in fields relevant to the social integration of third-country nationals, other public or private entities, as well as experts renowned in Europe or internationally. The projects will facilitate the creation of partnerships between universities, researchers and other actors in Romania, as well as the exchange of good practices regarding research in the field of immigration and integration with foreign partners.
The specific objectives of the project:
1.Establishing a Research and Documentation Center on Immigrant Integration.
2. Creating a multidisciplinary network of researchers.
3. Facilitating the creation of partnerships between universities, researchers and other relevant actors in Romania, which will be accomplished through the research center’s projected role of scientific and creditable focal point of documentation and research on the integration of immigrants.
4. Facilitating the exchange of good practices between universities, researchers and other relevant actors in Romania and foreign partners, relevant actors from other member states, including similar centers from EU member countries. The literature on the integration of immigrants will be examined annually from a multidisciplinary perspective by the multidisciplinary team of researchers.
5. The innovative approach of the conceptual framework and the creation of new instruments for the research of the processes of immigrants’ integration into Romanian society.
6. Conducting a study in the field of integration based on the new conceptual approach and research instruments developed.
