Autori: IOM
"This issue of MPP includes eight articles (in English, French and Spanish) written mostly by participants in the International Dialogue on Migration (IDM) 2012, which focused on “Managing migration in crisis situations”. The IDM was established by IOM Member States in 2001 in order to provide a forum for the exchange of views and experiences and to promote regional and global debate and dialogue on migration.
Participants in IDM 2012 who contributed to this issue of MPP include senior representatives of the US Department of State, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chad, the Colombian Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea, and the National Immigration Council of Brazil.
This issue of MPP also includes two articles by Roger Zetter, on changing trends in and new responses to forced migration; and Joke Reijven and Joris van Wijk, on dealing with the consequences of article 1F of the UN Refugee Convention."

Migration and Global Environmental Change
Autori: Government Office for Science, London, UK
This review has been commissioned as part of the UK Government’s Foresight Project, Migration and Global Environmental Change. The views expressed do not represent the policy of any Government or organisation. The overall aims of the Migration and Global Environmental Change project (‘the Project’) are to assess how a broad range of environmental factors could, in interaction with other socioeconomic drivers of change, influence patterns of migration globally until 2060, and to assess the policy implications at the level of national governments and international bodies.

Forced Migration Review
Autori: University of Oxford, Refugee Studies Centre
Preventing displacement is obviously a worthwhile objective. Being displaced puts people at a higher risk of being both impoverished and unable to enjoy their human rights. Such a situation is worth preventing – but not at any cost. FMR 41 includes a major feature on ‘Preventing displacement’ plus a range of articles on other subjects such as North Koreans in China, East Africans adapting to the UK, the Rohingya, slum evictions in Tanzania, the Nansen Initiative and a new methodology for assessing the costs and impacts of displacement.

Access to Nationality for Third-country Nationals
Autori: Migration Policy Group
Choosing the topic of access to nationality was inspired by recent developments in Member States’ naturalisation policies as well as recurrent references to access to nationality and citizenship in recent electoral campaigns. The conditions for access to nationality of the Member States are regulated under the national laws, but acquisition of a Member State's nationality automatically entails acquisition of Union citizenship, to which an additional set of rights is attached. Moreover, access to nationality may have an impact on migrants' integration into the receiving society and is therefore of interest also for the EU cooperation on integration.
